Parents of the parents

Yes, Grand Parents is what I mean. What is the first thing that comes to your mind whenever this word knocks on your drums? For me, it's knowledge, experience and affection.

They are old, physically not so bold but are twice as wise our dad or mom!(oh, it rhymes). They might not know about thermodynamics but will not need a thermometer to tell whether you are ill or not. They will not show any interest in the stories of justin beiber or lil wayne but will grab yours via the stories of Mahatma Gandhi & Hitler.

How come I bring out this topic now? Well, only because as I mentioned earlier, my nana is here to visit us. I think I should be introducing him now. He is known as Mahavira P Pareek(65 yrs), A retired government of India Officer. He served as a Chief inspector in Rajasthan for several years with immense honesty.

So as I was saying, he tells so many stories from the past about how he chased criminals, dacoits and terrorists. How he seized AK 47s and AK 56s from smugglers. The so many different people that used to come to the police station everyday and how weirdly they would behave. How a 303(rifle) works and why are they named so.

More news from his desk would appear soon but need to take a break for now...tired after a long day showing him around town and explaining every lil detail that there is to be.

As u mentioned abt them being so wise, i think its the experience and also the peoples of earlier days were very active both physically and mentally and they still are no doubt...
Its ur time to show him the city u live in as he would have done wen u were a kid....
Eagerly waiting to know how a 303(rifle) works and also the mystery of their names...
