Weeeee have, Weeeee have WON IT!!! ( in the tune of rock u!)

Ohk so lemme start from the beginning...Today at about 8:30 all of us gathered in the school to head for the School of Science and Research...why?...because our school was participating in the 8th Inter School Competition organised by Indian Islamic centre...

We had our girls participating as well the boys...this competion had quran related as well as english related topics for around 15 schools to participate from all over dubai n sharjah as well. Shariq was in the Impromptu and Mustafa, Me n Yusuf were in the Group Debate and Gurpreet(the cultural secretary) and Amit(The Head Prefect) were with us for support...

We reached the venue...School of Research and Technology at 9:00 and started aur journey...After witnessing the juniors debate...we went for a break in the main hall...and one of their representatives was mimicking some actors, and since our own Shariq is a fantastic Mimick..we pushed him on the stage and he turned the audience into laughing monsters!

Went for lunch but they didn't have anything in veg...so me, Gurpreet n Amit had to sit in Disappointment and eat something that my mom put with me...

We were the first once to start competing with our opponents on the topic...Should the hospital workers be allowed to strike or not! and we had to speak against the topic...that means they should not be allowed to strike...& here are the few points we put forth to dismantle the other team:

1 . It is not a profession...but a worship, It's a passion and you have to accept the difficulties that come with it before choosing.

2. They take a Hippocratic oath before they start their duties which stops them from doing so.

3. Social impacts of the strike, killing more people than it might benefit.

4. Impact on a child, he/she may not want to become a doctor anymore!

5. They turn into cruel murderers after they go on a strike!

6. Emergency patients, long awaiting patients, and pregnant ladies face danger.

7. The duty has some conditions which doesn't allow them to strike just like ARMY!

8. They have respect, fame and money, then why strike?

9. Doctors are Intellectual people and they must find better ways to put forth their demands.

10. What happens if there is a natural calamity in the period of the strike?

11. 85,000 children are born in India every single day...so they are basically endangering the lives of the children n their mother as well.

12. ETC...

The opponents spoke, but little as compared to us. We knew we had done well...We took our seats back in the audience and started watching the show...all the teams were good and well prepared.

After while, when i am busy playing games on my mobile...I heard an announcement and I raise my hand coz Yusuf n Mustafa had raised theirs...I later get to know that one of the teams was missing and they needed someone to oppose the one team present...the draw took place n we were selected...We went up to the stage, and asked the topic...It was, the celebrities should not be role models...and we were speaking for it and i started the intro followed by Yusuf and Mustafa...And after sometime...the other team faced a few diffficulties and it was over...though we were not being evaluated for the second chance but got to test our ability and I think we were as good as anybody.

The results were being announced an hour later and when they announced the third & second positions...Mustafa was not confident...he thought we would not get it because of partiality but Gurpreet was confident and told me,"stand up and get ready!" I was neutral and he announces," it goes to TCS" and My blood is refreshed! The hall erupts with shouts and cheers and applauses but 3 shocked faces go up and collect their worth!

We felt really good coz last time when we were here, we lost to DPS and felt bad as I thought we deserved something...but this time it was magical!

Hats off to the Guyz for supporting us all thorough!...Amit, Gurpreet and Shariq!
