Let the games...BEGIN!

Hi all...

NOTE: 'I started this thing as a comment to the previous post of Sharq so I want all the readers to first read the previous post by him and also the following comments...'

Hmm...Lets see...I want to agree with priyanka in some aspects but thn some things are preventing me as I am a micawber sort of person and if thre's no contradiction, life's boring!
Why not do both the things together...I mean what shariq says could be implemented to wht priyanka says...invest a million in gaming and earn 50...invest 48 in slums and 1 in gaming and one in the invester's pocket...not bad!
And BTW we are a progressive democracy and in trying to completely focus on our weaknesses, we must not forget our strengths...the london traffic is managed in banglore via satellites--now tht isn't a joke. The USB was invented by an indian...MSN is run by an Indian...and many many other facts will tell you how we feature globally.

And one more thing...which has just struck me...if Indian--so called the rich like Ambanis invest in this gaming sector...it's eventually gonna benefit the economy of the country, we shall have more and more employment of indians in this sector, more and more foreign investment here which leads to a growth in tourism sector ultimately to GDP growth and the treasury of the govt. which solves all the problems...
And furthermore, just like sharq says...the possibilities are endless...trucks, rickshaws, phatphatis, tempos, trains, jugads, and the locations are a bonus, you could have the smow in kashmir, greenery in punjab, desert in ahem...Rajasthan, people running into your simulator every hour in UP and beaches in goa and lots more...we could have aur own GTA vice city. Ohh ohh...bullock carts, donkey carts, camel carts, dhabas in the way, police asking for bribe and stuff...it could all be desi fun after all.

Well...If I had about a million dollars to invest here I surely would, right now!

And here's some facts I got hold of on the way...
--India is one of only three countries that makes supercomputers (the US and Japan are the other two).
--India is one of six countries that launches satellites.
--The Bombay stock exchange lists more than 6,600 companies. Only the NYSE has more.
--Eight Indian companies are listed on the NYSE; three on the NASDAQ.
--Nearly 49% of the high-tech startups in silicon Valley and Washington, D.C. are owned by Indians or Indian-Americans.
--India has the second largest community of software developers, after the U.S.
Someone said...The difference between a winner and a loser is that a winner knows his weaknesses and focuses on his strengths and a loser knows his strengths and focuses on his weaknesses.

PS : Apologies for being so late in writing this piece but i have my own limitations coz of travelling and then jet lagging and stuff...and again i can't promise of being on time the next time due to the same reason...

Could I be called an OPINIONIST?

Hellos and hi's...
Recently after reading the very beneficial post about creative and analytical writing, I have started analysing the styles of writing in different people. And here are my honest views...
Shariq : Very Creative. Extremely thought provoking, puts a lot of thought in very tiniest of things and tries to be as original as possible. Good use of paragraphs, and sub-headings. Use of sarcasm and strike-outs with a lot of colour as well to clearly explain wht he is thinking. Chubbyness written all over and superb use of humour. Avoids unnecessary humour. Usually more than one feel to a single post...here feel doesn't relate to topics but to how he suddenly changes a gear from humour to history and then to reality.
PS : Dude...Hands down to the amount of effort you show and the enthusiasm towards blogging is actually enthralling.
Gurpreet : All of his posts are humourous. if not then informative about something or the other. Looks at things in a funny way and doesn't like serious stuff. Very formally informal...tries to be formal in the start and ends up informal by the end. Can somehow seem to grab the attention of the reader and make him or her appreciate what he has written. He makes u feel that he will anytime go off the topic but manages to hang on to it. In a major learning process and very quick at that. As I always feel he could have written better.
PS : Creative Titles to his posts...I like that. Stick to your strengths for now...you will gradually invade the other genres.
Yusuf : Formal...Formal...and "WHAT THE F***!?"...I have many times felt that he is going very formal and suddenly there is that one line which shocks you! Writes what he likes. Which is good and doesn't care of what people might think after reading. This brings out the real you whether you are formal or informal. Isn't scared of using the four letter words at all...i.e. As realistic a post as possible. Very dedicated but only when he really wants to write.
PS : Can write a million times better than what he currently is, if you thought he was good.
Mustafa : Wait!...Don't know him? No worries, he RARELY writes. And that rare read shows you that he has potential but somehow doesn't come out. Knows all the tricks of the trade but is scared of people reading him. Is scared of letting us down if he attempts anything. This mentality is just holding him from delievering. As I am a close friend and I exactly know how much water there is in the bucket, Spill it.
PS : Mustafa..if you're reading this (ofc you are...:P) Start writing...tht's the only thing i can tell you.
Last but not the least...
Lazy18 : I am not going for analysis here, just the things I notice while reading her posts. You can rarely not smile while reading her posts. She can control your expression while reading her posts...I consider that as a special power and therefore sometimes address her as Superhaffy. A polished writer...you know it, as soon as you read her stories that she writes. The regular random posts are completly like she is talking to you. But the stories are what amaze you to the extent that you start confirming that it's her own by going to google.(No, I never doubted your posts :P)
PS : Start working towards your book...I have started collecting money:P
And what about me?...Yes...I call my self a writer too...i don't know how many people agree to that...:P But I want all you people who are continuously reading my stuff to tell me about my flaws and plus points in the comments section.

Mac-for us! Lozza for youh!

Hellooooo......Almost 1 month ago i wrote we are back!but never came back since then.....lol.It was as if some of us forgot that they had a blog...Where they can share there feelings.....

Today me,yusuf, shark and gary we had maths tuition.....Tuition was at 11:30 but me and shark  reached early..i must say very early at 10...And now the question was what to do?Because we doesn't wanna be unnecessarily  sitting at sir's house doing nothing but whispering and doing those boring questions....

So we planned to go to the internet cafe and we spent the next 1 hour at the cafe most of the time thinking what to browse and what to do.....And then came yusuf at around 11:15 looking a bit happy and a bit tensed because he was caught on his way crossing the road which is illegal and was about to be fined around 500dhs....really a big amount..But then the policeman got some sympathy on him and let him go........

Then we went to the tuition and spent the next 3 hours trying to do Inverse(Matrices),by now we were really hungry as we left his house so we planned to eat something and we reached Sahara Centre (MCDONALDS) in search of food....It was like three hungry lions looking for a food that to veg.... By now Gary wasn't there with us....Ok now me standing near the queue making some poor plans with shariq to cut short the line....and so finally it was my turn...I ordered 3 veggie meals worth 48 and took a 50 dhs note out of my wallet, trying to show off and why not!It was adidas....lol

The girl standing at the counter looking in a hurry as if the customers will run away if she'll not take their orders within 5 mnts, she confirmed my order and took that 50 dh note in a hurry and kept it in the cash counter and than took the same note out alongwith 2dh chillers and handed over to me....:D

I didn't even turned back as i moved away from the counter, i went and stood near yusuf and shariq as they were about to take money out of their pockets....Me with a smile on my face as if i have just brushed my teeth with dabur lal dantmanjan and my teeth are shining like silver in sun....

Ok now as we got our order and during the whole time i was just saying how tasty it feels eating a burger which you have not paid for,the fries, the drink,it was just amazing....we finished it up and moved away still very happy.....

we went out of the mall still discussing about free burgers! Then  shariq went back home as he lives in sharjah and we started heading towards dubai, but suddenly yusuf realized  that something is missing he checked it everywhere but it wasn't there with him...It was his sun glasses of Lozza worth 600...:P Suddenly the happiness turned into a big frustration....:-l

We went back to the Centre  seraching for it here and there, even asked the guards in the mall, cleaners and finally at the customer service....but there was no sign of it.......So, we turned back again and crossed the border of Sharjah and head back to dubai...with some really.. sweet memories of those sun glasses.
In the end it was a mixed day, good for us but really bad  for yusuf!.......Maybe thats what we call as luck.....

A letter from the unknown...

{INTRO : This is an imaginative piece, looking at different aspects. It's written in the form of a letter.}

The Blue Planet
12345П Light years
Milky Way galaxy
Towards the Sun – Near Venus

Hello Humans,
My name is “Alien Phattu Tingu”. I live on a planet which you are yet to find or should I say, might never be able to find. I am writing this letter today because I was feeling bored and wanted to ask you a few things too. My parents (yes, we reproduce too!) warned me against you before this. But they didn’t tell me the reason. Are you really that dangerous? Well, even if you are, what do I care?
Yes, coming to the questions. First of all, who the F*** told you we look like creatures made out of Shit? I vomited after watching ET. I mean why you always think that it’s you who are smart and rests are dumb? You make us look like superconductors, with a light glowing from weird parts of our body, as shown by you.
Second question, supposed to be first, but I was angry so I asked that first. Why you think that we will land up on your tiny winy home called “Earth”? Ok even if we happen to be there, why would we destroy it? Every time we come, run around like mad bunch of hounds and destroy you! HELLO…we have our own planet for God’s sake. And always when we are shown as friends, we have special powers. So you could benefit from them.
Third question, There are 100s of places & 1000s of species still undiscovered on your planet. Why waste time sending some stupid machines in the space trying to find us? Use that little amount of knowledge to uncover your own planet first. And after you do that I am sure your greed to find more will be satisfied. Try it!
It was almost perfect until it was “Global warming”, now it’s become Universal. Stop sending some needles which fart and pollute the space! You’re not going to find us. Bloody an Osama is still missing and you want to meet us?
Time for some universal facts. The numbers go beyond 2012. It’s not the end of number line or your planet. You’ll die, don’t worry. But not so soon.
Waiting for your positive reply in eagerness (no, that’s not the name of our planet).

Never to be yours

The beginning...

Hi everyone,
This is the first time I am writing a blog EVER...therefore have no idea on how to start. But we are tought to give ur introduction first...so here it is
This is not an individual blog...it's a group blog..we are a bunch of guys...who wanted to write our own blog.(for some weird reason)
Let me strt with the introduction of all ( in alphabetical order )...
Amit...Ample honesty combined with the best of hearts, he is someone who you can literally call at 3 and say, " Amit, my zip is stuck dude, need help!"...and he would come!
Gurpreet Singh Gill...Flambuoyance, presence of mind and intelligence...with a lot of energy...is gurpreet!...A superb company to have and one of the bestest of friends.
Mustafa...yes...he is a Khan. - a thorough hyderabadi, a thorough professional, very sincere, and knows how to digest a bad joke on himself:P. Another great friend.
Rajesh Pareek...yeah u guessed it ryt...it's me!... not someone who u could call at 3 coz my phone is either out of charge or i am not near it. Jokes apart...I try to stay original and unique...tht's it!
Shariq Shahid...you cut me in half radially and you get a shariq shahid, skinniest of all, weirdest of all, and the most appreciative of all. A great human being...
Yusuf Khan...Boy next door looks, boy next door charm, bu a man next door habits...you'll come to know that later. Quiet mature bu sometimes over mature:P
Ok then I am done with the work here...will be waiting for one of my friends to sign in and correct me if i am wrong. Untill then
Adios...
RAJESH
