Let the games...BEGIN!

Hi all...

NOTE: 'I started this thing as a comment to the previous post of Sharq so I want all the readers to first read the previous post by him and also the following comments...'

Hmm...Lets see...I want to agree with priyanka in some aspects but thn some things are preventing me as I am a micawber sort of person and if thre's no contradiction, life's boring!
Why not do both the things together...I mean what shariq says could be implemented to wht priyanka says...invest a million in gaming and earn 50...invest 48 in slums and 1 in gaming and one in the invester's pocket...not bad!
And BTW we are a progressive democracy and in trying to completely focus on our weaknesses, we must not forget our strengths...the london traffic is managed in banglore via satellites--now tht isn't a joke. The USB was invented by an indian...MSN is run by an Indian...and many many other facts will tell you how we feature globally.

And one more thing...which has just struck me...if Indian--so called the rich like Ambanis invest in this gaming sector...it's eventually gonna benefit the economy of the country, we shall have more and more employment of indians in this sector, more and more foreign investment here which leads to a growth in tourism sector ultimately to GDP growth and the treasury of the govt. which solves all the problems...
And furthermore, just like sharq says...the possibilities are endless...trucks, rickshaws, phatphatis, tempos, trains, jugads, and the locations are a bonus, you could have the smow in kashmir, greenery in punjab, desert in ahem...Rajasthan, people running into your simulator every hour in UP and beaches in goa and lots more...we could have aur own GTA vice city. Ohh ohh...bullock carts, donkey carts, camel carts, dhabas in the way, police asking for bribe and stuff...it could all be desi fun after all.

Well...If I had about a million dollars to invest here I surely would, right now!

And here's some facts I got hold of on the way...
--India is one of only three countries that makes supercomputers (the US and Japan are the other two).
--India is one of six countries that launches satellites.
--The Bombay stock exchange lists more than 6,600 companies. Only the NYSE has more.
--Eight Indian companies are listed on the NYSE; three on the NASDAQ.
--Nearly 49% of the high-tech startups in silicon Valley and Washington, D.C. are owned by Indians or Indian-Americans.
--India has the second largest community of software developers, after the U.S.
Someone said...The difference between a winner and a loser is that a winner knows his weaknesses and focuses on his strengths and a loser knows his strengths and focuses on his weaknesses.

PS : Apologies for being so late in writing this piece but i have my own limitations coz of travelling and then jet lagging and stuff...and again i can't promise of being on time the next time due to the same reason...
