Tough Times

Hallo Freunde
I've been a great fan of Germany lately. Mainly due to Bayern Munich, German national Football team and of course, Adolf Hitler.
What a terrible 2-3 months its been, full of depression, pain, more depression and more pain.

It's been more then a month since I broke my thumb and life's been completely dead ever since. Talking about the injury in medical terms, the Interphalangeal joint of the right hand thumb was pushed back from its actual position as I was trying to be Dale Steyn on a caught and ball opportunity. It was operated as a result and the pins were inserted in the thumb to hold the bone in its right position(Am I right Dr. sahab?). It has been in a splint for over a month and the skin have started to rot and it stinks.

The disappointing part is that I was getting back in rhythm after some bad games with the ball. I missed the important part of the season and will also miss the Final due to the injury.

Another disappointing thing has been the transfer window deadline day (football). Being a great fan of Ronaldo, Kaka and Ozil it was very disappointing to see both Kaka and Ozil move to 2 different clubs on the same day. I was happy for Kaka as he wasn't getting enough playing time at Madrid But the real shocker was Ozil forced to leave the club. It was a complete bull shit by Madrid to sell the top midfielder in the world.

The Only good news is that my closest cousin became father to a son early in the morning and I became chacha (Uncle). Time to open up some Limca bottles. Burrrraaaaa!!!!
I have a lot to share but I don't remember much and good the see some modifications on the blog and some posts...

Bye

Welcome to North India!

I have made a list of things you would surely need while coming towards North India.

Number 1: Odomos mosquito repellent
If you do not have a mosquito repellent you are gonna become a feast for the blood thirsty mosquitoes.
Malaria, Dengue etc are quite common here.

Number 2: Calcium Tablets
Yes, In my stay of more than a year here i have experienced that most of the milk over here is 'purely' artificial. You will need external calcium to avoid decaying of teeth and joint related problems.

Synthetic Milk Siezed

Number 3: Anti-Allergics
With the weather changing here almost constantly you will surely need an anti histamine. We have so many seasons that its impossible to believe that your living in the same country all the time.

Number 4: Body Warmers, Quilt .etc
We have one of the most mind blowing winters. It is so cold over here that it literally blows your mind. Keep the cold in mind when coming between December 25 to January 25. Its damn cold. Brrrrrrrrr.

Number 5: Parle-G, Chocolate bars.
As Odd as it sounds, when coming here during the monsoons keep some ready snacks with you. Floods are very common here. Water just enters the house without knocking and you could be stranded without any food.

Number 6: Bargaining Technique
Its very important that you argue for every rupee here. People have tendency to take people for a ride if they feel they are new to the city. Bargain with them , argue and show them you are not a newbie.

Number 7 : A Sharp Eye
The Dhaba's and Roadside restaurants are not very hygenic here. You will need a sharp eye to spot any thing 'extra' in your meal.

Update Ju713

I have finally fixed the error that was not allowing any side bars to appear.

The problem appeared to be one of the posts that were causing problems. I turned like 15 posts to draft and then starting publishing them one by one to check if they are the one causing the problem. one of the posts were causing it and i was able to remove it. It took me 30mins.

Rajesh's post The best four letter word was causing problem. though appeared pretty harmless.

Conclusion : To avoid losing the sidebar again please use the computer to post and not any kind of smartphone and make sure you donot post any picture that is too big. The font was eventually causing the side bar thing to show up in the bottom of the blog.

PS. I have republished 'The four letter word'[font change] and removed some pictures from the posts.
I'll be adding chat app also.

The best four letter word...

I have been asked to write about a topic out of the love the person shares for me, or my writing,(may be?) but most probably for the love of reading she has. Why did I agree? For the love of my writing you suppose? But this time for the sake of other writers(a little secret between me and her).

But what's the topic?

It's a four letter word, to begin with, very commonly used, least understood, expressed in more ways than one, perceived wishfully, it's something called "Love". Now, what's the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear this word? To most, it might mean a boy and a girl, looking each other in the eyes and smiling. For others, it's a feeling, a realisation, or even a synonym for life. A few may even question it's mere existence. For me, it's everything I live for.

I am not going to tell you about all those things you already know but yes, I am going to tell you how I see and look at all those things you already know.

Everybody loves themselves, their parents(most people), their friends etc. plus people also love their hobbies, and stuff. The question here is not about who and what should or could we love but how they should be loved.

I mean you can simply love an object with a pumping heart and a one without it. There are no boundations at all to what you can love, but the society has it's boundations as to what you can express your love for.

Why?

I think it's love, that's going against itself.

Confused?

Some people love the importance they get, by going against love. And others may develop love in sync with someone else for the same person/object. But if you look at it, everybody loves the rivers, mountains, and Gangnam style but is there a problem?

No.

Then why is there so much of a fuss with other minute people/things being loved? Because Love was never a problem, the problem was always the Desire to achieve what you love. But that's one perspective.

Another way to look at it is what you must achieve that you love and what isn't compulsory to be achieved. Like your love for success in life, a must, while your love for a Rolls Royce doesn't necessarily have to be translated into you owning one(would be great by the way).

Let's talk of the form of love we love to talk about most. The kind of love between a man and a woman. Honestly, my views about this are very simple and practical. If A loves B and B loves A, it's the end of a story for me. Nothing else matters, go out there, live your life. But in real life, there are cultures, thought processes, religions and races. The past has left it's massive mark on humans and their thinking machineries.

We have evolved, No doubt, a bit too much at that, simply because simple things have been complicated and complicated once are being turned into Weapons. From the society's perspective, if there is a someone who loves anyone and it is being reciprocated, and you love one of them, and they want to be together, you are just another someone who loves anyone and I am sure you wouldn't like being interfered, then why interfere? As simple as that. Except, I still find myself too small to comment on the love for offsprings, may be after I have one, I shall elaborate.

And then there are other feelings as well, anger, happiness and guilt. Why did I mention only these? Because they are as strong a feeling as love is. Therefore, they can overcome love, if not always, but mostly. Though these are short lived but their effect is long lasting. If one is aware of oneself and his/her feelings, their relative intensities, he/she can choose anyone of the four feelings for life and go on with it. It's individual. But again, this is what the billion neurons in my skull could come up with, the reality could be something completely different

I am writing way less than she asked me to. But, due to business...may be next time. (Sorry daddi)

Aata Singh?

It was our first year and we somehow managed to get through the first semester. We had a new applied physics lecturer from Dehradun and we were not that happy. After all the time we got for canteen and roaming around the MAJU campus was now sabotaged by someone who will fill our minds with Schrodinger and many other related derivations. It was a big setback for our branch. In the starting we were told by him to write the attendence on a sheet and give him afterwards. We did so. But when the sheet came to me, i looked at my bench mates in a devilish manner and came up with an idea to write something most awkard. My friends told me to write something feminish. But i came up with a more moderate option..its was rather foolish.

I wrote Aata Singh [I am this random] on the sheet, leaving some spaces and changed the font[as i had the worst writing anyone could catch me]. Days passed, One day he entered the lecture hall, kept his attendence register on the podium and started the attendence with Aata Singh[Flour Singh], the room remained silent. He soon realized he was pranked. The Bench i was sitting on bursted out in laughter. We hid our faces and laughed hell as the room was silent it was pretty tough to control our laughter.

Not that funny but Aata singh was very awkard.

Honorably Engineered Indian Chief Ministers

You think they can just talk sweet? Some of them are even big geeks. Most of them being engineers..do we have Indian states in good hands?

Stay with me while i take you to a ride of list of honorably engineered present chief ministers of various states of India.

#1 Prithviraj Chauhan- Maharashtra

Well they don't say 'Jai Maharashtra' for nothing. This guy takes all the credit on my list for being most educated engineer and chief minister of any state in India.

He graduated in mechanical engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani and holds a Master of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He has also written articles on computer science; engineering design; and also contribution to research in computerization.

#2 Manohar Parrikar- Goa

Go Goa. He is surely a landmark for IIT Bombay as he's the first IIT graduate to become chief minister of any state of India.  He studied at Loyola High School, Margao. He completed his secondary education in Marathi and went on to graduate in metallurgical engineering from IIT Bombay.
Normally, IITians don't really like to waste time on petty politics. They have their own set of politics to handle.

 #3 Akhilesh Yadav- Uttar Pradesh
One of my personal favourites, people say he does what his father says. Is this making him popular in many circles today? He studied at Dholpur Military School in Dholpur, Rajasthan and subsequently was awarded a degree in Environmental engineering while studying in Mysore. He went to Australia to study for a master's degree in the same subject.

#4 Nitish Kumar- Bihar

Chief minister of one of most unprivileged state, Bihar. No, its not Laloo. But he's also one of my favourites as he holds a degree of B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from NIT Bihar, earlier known as Bihar College of Engineering and Electrical engineering happens to be one of my most favourite discipline in engineering.

Indian Politicians..These two words really make u
